WHAT'S INVOLVED

What makes this a quality qualification?

The Trinity College London Certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) is a quality qualification. The mark of this is 100 hours of face to face tuition. Assessment is based mainly on 6 hours teaching real students and followed up with feedback on how to develop as a teacher. The many online and weekend qualifications found in a simple search do not stand up to this test of quality. Those who take such courses often end up paying twice for their teacher training and put themselves at the mercy of disreputable operators. The Trinity Cert. TESOL is internationally recognised as a quality qualification that will qualify you to teach in reputable school in Ireland and around the world. There is no sense settling for less.

The Cert. TESOL offers

  • A course accredited and certified by Trinity College London, one of the most recognised international names in training and testing.

  • A course the is accepted by the language schools regulator ACELS/QQI for teachers working in Ireland.

  • 130 hours of tutor directed training including 90 hours of face to face tuition from a qualified and experienced team of teacher trainers.
