Who is the TESOL course for?

 

The Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), from ECM, is designed for those with little to no experience in teaching English in an international context. It equips candidates with the teaching skills and language knowledge needed to take up their first post as a teacher of English to speakers of other languages. This course will give you an insight into the challenges facing the learner, and the role of the teacher in helping them to overcome these challenges. On successful completion of the course, you will understand how to prepare and deliver a class, as well as the rationale behind it. You will also have had eight opportunities to teach real learners while being observed by a trainer, and getting feedback after each experience.
