Trinity qualifications are widely recognised by employers and education authorities around the world. The Trinity certificate in TESOL is accepted by the British Council, which accredits teaching organisations in the UK, as an appropriate initial qualification for teachers in its accredited teaching organisations and in its own teaching operations overseas. The lead taken by the British Council in setting standards for English language teaching is followed around the world.
